Today there was a surprise in the mail, because the assorted fibres that I ordered from Monika of red2white had already flown over in spite of Icelandic vulcanic ash clouds, air traffic delays etc. She has a separate Etsy shop in which she sells her leftover roving, wool nepps etc. She has really spoilt me with a lot of extra fibres to play with, two chocolates ( one of which made my elder son very happy, the other one was for me, of course:), and a pretty postcard featuring two sheep hoping for better weather. Monika, thank you ever so much for spoiling me in this way.
Vandaag kreeg ik al de wol en andere vezels die ik bij Monika van red2white had besteld. Ze verkoopt haar resten via haar tweede Etsy webwinkel. Ze had me erg verwend, want ik kreeg allerlei extra restjes en ook nog twee chocolaatjes en een ansichtkaart met twee schapen die in de regen staan te blauwbekken, hopend op beter weer. Monika maakt tegenwoordig prachtige kledingstukken met katoengaas en wol die ze zelf verft. Erg elegant en draagbaar!
